E’ on line il nuovo video di Drake Toosie Slide. Il video clip ha la regia di Theo Skudra e la produzione di Christian Tyler.
Domenica scorsa il brano era apparso per la prima volta sull’account di Ayo & Teo, star di Tik Tok, facendo diventare “Toosie Slide” una vera e propria hit. Gli utenti, infatti, si sono divertiti a provare a riprodurre la coreografia su quello che è il social del momento, seguendo le indicazioni dei passi che vengono dati nel ritornello. Martedì è seguito l’annuncio ufficiale dell’artista sul suo profilo Instagram.
Contemporaneamente è stato pubblicato su YouTube il video ufficiale, diretto da Theo Skudra, che mostra Drake coperto, a causa dell’emergenza del Coronavirus, da guanti e passamontagna ballare sul brano ripetendo la sequenza di passi del ritornello, all’interno di una villa. Il video ha già superato in pochissime ore il milione di views sulla piattaforma.
“Toosie Slide” segue il successo di “Scorpion”, l’album del 2018 che ha battuto ogni record: nelle prime ore di uscita ha raggiunto oltre 132 milioni di stream e in una sola settimana ha superato il miliardo di stream globali. Il primo singolo estratto, “In My Feelings”, è diventato un vero tormentone dell’estate 2018 grazie anche alla challenge esplosa sui social e condivisa da star del calibro di Will Smith. Nell’estate 2019 l’artista ha invece regalato due sorprese ai propri fan: “The Best in The World Pack”, realizzato per la storica vittoria dei Toronto Raptors alle NBA Finals 2019, e “Care Package”, con rarità e brani amati dai fan mai pubblicati ufficialmente.
