Alla UBS Arena di Long Island a New York, questa notte si sono tenuti gli MTV Video Music Awards 2025.
Lady Gaga, regina delle nomination con 12 candidature, è stata la più premiata della serata con quattro Moon Person, ma il riconoscimento più ambito – Video of the Year – è andato ad Ariana Grande per Brighter Days Ahead. La popstar ha conquistato in totale tre premi anche Sabrina Carpenter si è portata a casa tre trofei.

La diretta dei VMAs inizierà alle 20:00 (ora della costa Est USA) sulla CBS Television Network. Lo show sarà trasmesso in contemporanea anche su MTV e in streaming su Paramount+ negli Stati Uniti. Il pre-show, condotto da Nessa e Kevan Kenney, andrà in onda live a partire dalle 19:00 (EDT) su MTV, BET, BET Her, Comedy Central, CMT, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land e VH1.
In Italia i “VMA” andranno in onda lunedì 8 settembre su MTV (canale Sky 131, 122 di Sky Glass e in streaming su NOW) con preshow alle 21.00 e show alle 22.00. Questi saranno trasmessi poi anche su MTV MUSIC (canali Sky 132 e 704, canale Sky Glass 123) a partire dalle 22.00. Sempre alle 22.00, l’evento andrà in onda su Comedy Central (canale 129 di Sky, 121 di Sky Glass e in streaming su NOW).
