Il testo è un’osservazione semplice e senza abbellimenti del suo ultimo anno. Nessuna affermazione profonda.
Nessuna poesia. È la musica a portare tutto il peso emotivo. Suppongo che, a volte, si debba semplicemente affrontare di petto ciò che fa male. Per accettarlo e andare avanti.”
“Rainy Sunday Afternoon” il tredicesimo disco della band è stato registrato agli Abbey Road Studios ed è stato scritto, arrangiato e prodotto da Neil Hannon.
