Prende forma l’edizione 2023 di Glastonbury, il famoso festival che si terrà a Worthy Farm (Uk) dal 21 al 25 giugno.
Gli Arctic Monkeys e i Guns N’ Roses sono gli headliner finali del Glastonbury di quest’anno e si uniscono a Elton John, precedentemente annunciato, che suonerà il suo ultimo spettacolo nel Regno Unito la domenica sera nel suo debutto a Glastonbury.
Il festival vedrà anche la partecipazione di Lizzo – che aprirà il concerto dei Guns N’ Roses.
Tra i nomi sul palco Lana Del Rey, Christine and the Queens, Fever Ray e tanti altri.
Altri artisti presenti nella lineup includono Amadou and Mariam, Blondie, Candi Staton, Carly Rae Jepsen, Chvrches, Fatboy Slim, Fred Again.., Hot Chip, Joey Bada$$, Kelis, Lil Nas X (che suonerà subito prima di Elton John), Maggie Rogers, Manic Street Preachers, Phoenix, Rina Sawayama, Shygirl, Slowthai, Sparks, Sudan Archives, the Chicks, the War on Drugs, Thundercat, Tinariwen, Warpaint, Weyes Blood, Wizkid, Young Fathers e Yusuf/Cat Stevens.
Gli Arctic Monkeys sono stati di recente in tour per promuovere il loro album del 2022, The Car e saranno anche in Italia, così come I Guns N’ Roses che suoneranno al Circo Massimo a Roma all’interno del loro grande tour in Nord America ed Europa.
