ANGELS LIKE YOU è il nuovo singolo di MILEY CYRUS estratto dall’album “PLASTIC HEARTS”.
Il video del brano è stato girato il 7 febbraio in occasione della sua esibizione al Super Bowl, il primo grande evento live statunitense conforme ai protocolli di sicurezza Covid-19, a distanza di quasi un anno dall’inizio della pandemia. Il pubblico era infatti composto da operatori sanitari completamente vaccinati, persone che hanno combattuto in prima linea contro il virus.
Il 7 febbraio 2021, quasi un anno dopo la cessazione delle attività causata dal Covid-19, è stato registrato questo video al primo concerto di grandi dimensioni da quando la pandemia ha cambiato le nostre vite. Il pubblico presente, completamente vaccinato, era composto dagli operatori sanitari, che hanno combattuto duramente e instancabilmente contro il virus – dichiara Miley in una nota presente nel video al minuto 3:17 – Speriamo tutti di essere presto di nuovo insieme e che questo possa accadere prima di quanto possiamo immaginare grazie a una maggiore disponibilità di vaccini. Ognuno di noi, vaccinandosi, può fare la sua parte per fermare la pandemia. Insieme possiamo fare in modo che la musica dal vivo ritorni ad essere una realtà».

È il primo disco dell’artista ad aver raggiunto questo importante traguardo e il sesto ad arrivare in cima alla classifica Billboard. L’album ha anche debuttato al #2 della Billboard 200, rendendo Miley l’artista femminile di questo secolo con il maggior numero di debutti nella Top 10 della classifica.
