Ad anticipare l’uscita del disco il singolo “PUPPET” con Grian Chatten dei Fontaines D.C., Antony Genn e Martin Slattery.
Cupo e malinconico, “Puppet” è un brano post-rock che racchiude l’intensità emotiva dell’universo di “Peaky Blinders”. Dietro la sua creazione ci sono Grian Chatten dei Fontaines D.C. e gli storici collaboratori della serie, Antony Genn e Martin Slattery, dando vita a un nuovo capitolo della leggendaria colonna sonora dello show.
La soundtrack comprende 36 canzoni in totale, tra cui 5 tracce completamente inedite e diversi brani appositamente commissionati che ampliano e arricchiscono la colonna sonora originale della serie. Antony Genn e Martin Slattery, collaboratori di lunga data del mondo Peaky Blinders, tornano a comporre la colonna sonora originale del film, mentre Amy Taylor dei “Amyl & the Sniffers” e Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Tom Coll dei “Fontaines D.C” firmano i brani inediti che arricchiscono di nuovi suoni e voci l’universo sonoro di Peaky Blinders.
Accanto alle musiche originali, la soundtrack presenta una selezione attentamente curata di brani di artisti che hanno contribuito a plasmare e definire l’identità musicale di Peaky Blinders, come Nick Cave, Lankum, and McLusky. Tra tutti, spiccano la versione inedita di “Red Right Hand”, il brano di Nick Cave, la collaborazione tra Grian Chatten e Lankum per il brano “Hunting The Wren (The Immortal Man version)” e le due cover dei Massive Attack, realizzate da Grian Chatten e da Girl In The Year Above.
